Getting organized!
2018 is a big sporting year! There is the Winter Olympics in South Korea, the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane Australia, the men’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, and the Asian Games in Indonesia. The year ends with the Invictus Games in Australia. Lots of opportunities exist in 2018! All these are worthy outreach opportunities. At this point in time we are not able to lead a group to each of these events. However, we do know people who are interested in reaching people for Christ in most, if not all, of these events. Check out what we have posted on our website.

Our big focus for 2018 will be the men’s FIFA World Cup in Russia. As you can imagine, ministry in Russia has its challenges. YET, we know we serve a God who is bigger than any challenge we may face in life. He is a God who seeks to draw people to Himself from all over the world. As Moscow swells by around four million international visitors during the summer of 2018 we want to be there to see and talk with some of those that God is calling to Himself. |

We do not have all the details yet, but we wanted to give those interested some more information, and our prayer partners more targeted things to pray about.
Tuesday, November 28th, is “Giving Tuesday.” People all over the world are encouraged to give to worthy organizations as a way of setting their mind back in its proper place after “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday.” You may have never heard of it before, but it is a real thing. Since it is the end of the financial year in the USA, it is also a great time to consider those end-of-year donations if you want to make them. We have a few suggestions.
First: We still need help with the financial side of establishing our non-profit organization. We need about $100 for software and about $1000 to cover the costs of becoming a tax-deductable organization. If God would guide you to give towards these needs we would greatly appreciate it! |
I want to help get things moving!
Second: You can see on our website (ComeSEE.events) that we need to get some translation work done for our evangelism booklets. Each translation costs about $300. Would you please pray with us about getting our booklets out in more languages? |
I want to help with translations!

Third: By April we will have to have all the printing to the print shop. Each language we print will cost between $1000 and $5000 depending on the quantity. Without the support of God’s people helping in this project we will have very little to use at our events. If you would like to see an English version of what we will use at the World Cup to help you in your prayers towards giving, please email us and we can give you a look at one.
Fourth: The expenses of travel to events must be met from somewhere. Please prayerfully consider giving to cover our costs in the area of travel. We have some savings, but as leaders we have needed to take extra trips to organize in advance. We could use God’s supply in this area.
Fifth: In a past letter we mentioned that we set this organization up to accept gifts in kind. As such we can give a tax break to those who help in practical ways. We now have a travel trailer, but it is big. If you have a ¾ ton truck that we could use for six (6) months in 2018, please contact us. Also, if you live in Northern California and have a place we can park the trailer for a week or two while we minister there, please email us. Lastly on this point, the trailer has no “extras.” We need everything from hoses to blocks to chocks. If you would like to help outfit our trailer, we would greatly appreciate any gifts you could give. |

FIFA World Cup 2018, Russia
The update on The Russian World Cup Outreach in 2018 is still in formation. Some of us plan to be in country from June 18th through July 4th. This outreach does not require those who want to help to be with us the entire time. Some will come for a few days, others will spend a week, and a few of us who have worked World Cup matches in the past will be there much longer. Consider the dates, and pray that the Lord of the Harvest would send forth labourers into His harvest!
Because people can come and go as God has laid on their hearts, we will need each person to get their own airfare to Moscow. We hope to be able to accommodate the dozen team members in a Bed-N-Breakfast type accommodation. If you have a match ticket and Fan ID, from the Russian government, the ground transportation is free, you do not need a visitor’s visa or a letter of reference to enter the country. We highly recommend if you plan to go that you email us for the matches we plan to target and buy a ticket to a match or two.

Have you seen our ministry Website?
Let us encourage you to have a look around our ministry website. ComeSEE.events is a place that will inform, challenge and hopefully delight you as you follow this ministry and the work before us.
We will give you more details as they come in. Until then, please keep praying to the Lord of the harvest!
