Getting involved
There is no doubt that an international ministry during a major sporting event costs a lot of money. People sometimes ask, "how we can justify leaving our ministries to travel to these fun events?" The answer is easy! We want to be in the place that God is changing lives. We also want to be serving in the ways He has prepared for us.
Sure those involved enjoy sport, but the sport is the side event in our minds. We have been blessed to see a couple thousand sporting fans come to Christ, and get connected with a local church, over the years. This ministry has had direct impact on the formation of 22 new churches over the 21 plus years of ministry. God has used our teams to reach athletes, fans, the homeless, the downtrodden, locals and internationals.
This ministry is for those who want to be involved in an exciting, fruitful, evangelistic effort that has a strong follow-up program as well.
We believe God is calling people to be involved on many levels.
We need people who will "come see" as they travel with us to an event.
We need people who can't come to pray and pray hard for this ministry.
We need people who will consider financially helping this ministry in its growth years. Eventually it should be self sustaining.

How to give:
Option 1 At this time we have two options for giving. The first is to send money to ABWE and designate it to the Sports Event Evangelism account # 0716003. The second is to make a check out to Sports Event Evangelism and post it to the USA address. Please note: At this time only money sent through ABWE is presently tax deductible. We want to file for 501(c)(3) status as an organization, but we have not been granted that designation yet.
Please drop us an email telling us that you have helped out! With accounting procedures being what they are it can take up to two months to learn of your gift if you don't let us know as you give it.
